About This Listing
The Orchard Cottage combines old world charm with modern comforts. The wide verandahs are reminiscent of early settler homesteads, with corrugated iron roofs and real timber used throughout on floors, walls and ceilings.
Orchard Cottage has three bedrooms, with a queen size brass bed in each of two of the bedrooms, and bunk beds in the third. All bedrooms are tastefully appointed in period styles cleverly concealing the modern mattresses and crisp fresh linen, the latest in comfort and style.
The lounge living area has a wood-heater for those cold wintry nights when you want the charm of a flickering flame and the safety of a fully enclosed warm and toasty fire. Reverse cycle ducted heating is also available at the flick of a switch.
A fully equipped kitchen adjoins the living area, with a full size gas stove and oven, microwave oven, fridge, sink and table for six. Ideal for a hearty and healthy home cooked country meal.
Corrugated iron lines the bathroom which has a very large stand alone shower and corner spa for two, with a stereo and i-Pod deck for relaxing music while bathing. A charming frosted stained glass window provides a light and airy ambiance.
Orchard Cottage also has it’s own laundry facilities with washing machine and dryer, if required. There is also a good old Aussie Hills Hoist clothes line out back for that last little bit of drying or airing of your clothes.
Orchard Cottage can accommodate up to 6 adults, or a family with children.
All linen, bath towels, (no beach towels) soaps etc. provided.
As with all Colby Cottages, the Orchard Cottage is pet friendly.
$240 per night per couple for a single night stay with a first day breakfast starter pack of bacon, eggs, cereal, bread etc.
$250 per night per couple for a stay of two nights or more with the same breakfast starter pack on the first day.
Minimum 2 nights on weekends (Friday and Saturday), 3 nights on long weekends and 4 nights over Christmas/New Year.
